Feed My Starving Children

Over MEA Weekend the Debate Team took time to lend a helping hand. Fifteen members of the team went to Feed My Starving Children in Eagan to help pack food for those across the world who need it most. It was a great team bonding experience and helped individuals around the globe.

Tournament Champions in Mankato

By Ben Geiger 10/12/2025, 7:15am CDT

The Two Rivers Debate team participates in the Minnesota Classic Debate League. In this format of debate two students are paired together, based on skill, to debate two students from another school. Each month the debate topic changes. In order to prepare for debates students conduct research and analysis. This activity sharpens students reading, writing, speaking and critical thinking skills.   The season runs from August -December. Practice dates vary by skill level. Students meet in room C175 after school for practice.
