Flag Football Meeting
2/19/2025
We will start the week of March 31st and have practices every week, mainly on Tuesdays and Thursdays. However, if there is a track meet or a lacrosse game, we may have to change the days.
This is starting as a club, so we will not interfere with your school-sanctioned spring sport!
Our practices will be from 7:30 to 9:15, and our competitions will be on Sundays.
Even though this is a club, you must register on the school activities page. Because of the large interest in this group, the Activities office is asking that you pay a 50$ fee to help offset the cost of another set of uniforms so everyone can play!
We will have 8 games in 4 weeks, the games will be played on Sundays (Doubleheaders)
First Practice will be April 1st
I will send out information on open gyms as the opportunity comes up!
Games will be:
Week 1 @ Two Rivers, April 27th
Game 1: Richfield 4 pm
Game 2: Burnsville 5 pm
Week 2 @ Robbinsdale Cooper, May 4th
Game 1: De La Salle 4 pm
Game 2: Richfield 5 pm
Week 3 @ De La Salle, May 11th
Game 1: Park 4 pm
Game 2: Robbinsdale Cooper 5 pm
Week 4 @ Richfield, May 18th
Game 1: Burnsville 4 pm
Game 2: De La Salle 5 pm
Playoffs- Sunday, June 1st (I know this is graduation)
State Championship at TCO - Monday, June 9th
This, like any sport, will be an investment! You will need to buy some cleats, an extra mouthguard, and shorts for practice.
We are working on building this into a school sport, so the expectation is that you are a STUDENT ATHLETE, YOU MUST BE WORKING TOWARDS PASSING CLASSES, and you must have good attendance! School is a priority!!!
We have enough players for Two (Varsity and JV) teams, We will have a combine (Skills and Drills) the first week of practice to gauge where you are athletically.
Playing time expectations will be discussed after our first week!
