In Model UN, students study a chosen nation's history, culture, economy, and system of government as they prepare to represent their country from its perspective at a state-wide conference sponsored by YMCA Center for Youth Voice. Students act as ambassadors and representatives to the various organs of the United Nations, discussing issues of global importance. The program offers students a unique opportunity to develop skills in negotiation, debate, research, public speaking, and writing, while also developing an informed global perspective.

Model UN season runs mid-February - April 1st. Cost is $389; need-based scholarships are available
