Three Two Rivers students have been honored as NSDA Academic All-American award winners. This distinguished award recognizes students who have (1) competed in at least five semesters of high school Speech, (2) earned the degree of Superior Distinction in the NSDA Honor Society, and (3) achieved a 3.7 GPA or higher. Additionally these students must demonstrate outstanding character and Leadership. 

There are more than 141,000 student members of the National Speech and Debate Association, fewer than 2% of those students earn the National Speech and Debate Association Academic All American award each year. 

Students Quinn Hendel, Grace Lyles and Maria Axinia all have a 3.9 GPA and degrees equal to or higher than Superior Distinction. These three serve as Co-Captains of the Two Rivers High School Speech team and find great ways to serve their communities.
