Two Rivers Activities Department is proud to announce the hiring of Nia Hollie as the new Head Girls Basketball Coach at Two Rivers High School.  Coach Hollie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our program as a player and as a coach. Most recently, she served as Assistant Girls Varsity coach at Cretin-Derham Hall for the past three seasons. She has been heavily involved as a coach at a variety of camps in the Midwest, including serving as Director/Coach of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx Basketball Academies. Hollie has also impacted many boys and girls basketball players as an AAU coach for the Minnesota Suns and Legacy Hoops organizations.

As a player, Nia was a 4-year Varsity letter winner at Hopkins High School under legendary coach Brian Cosgriff. Nia capped off her prep career as the 2016 Minnesota Miss Basketball award-winner. Coach Hollie continued on after high school as a student-athlete at Michigan State University as a contributing member of the Spartan Women's Basketball team, while graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.

"I am thrilled and deeply honored to join Two Rivers High School as the new Head Coach of girls’ basketball. Together, we will strive for excellence both on and off the court. It is my aspiration to create an environment that fosters positive growth, teamwork, and a healthy passion for the game. I am excited to get started, to learn from each individual player, and to witness the incredible potential that resides within our program. Thank you to the community, our athletic department and all the wonderful families and girls for this remarkable opportunity. GO WARRIORS!"

We welcome Nia Hollie to our Warrior community!
