Two Rivers Activities is proud to announce to the hiring of Payton Stites as the new head coach of the Warrior Gymnastics program!

Stites brings a long background of gymnastics experience to Two Rivers, having grown up watching her mother coach for 25+ years. Her coaching journey began at age 13 and now includes experiences at the community ed, club/rec, and high school levels.
Prior to Two Rivers, Stites spent 5 years coaching the Minneapolis Southwest gymnastics program, 4 of those as head coach. During her time, the Lakers finished as conference champions 4 consecutive seasons, as well as JV conference champions 3 years in a row. Payton competed as a high school gymnast herself at Byron High School for 5 years, while serving as volunteer coach with the Rochester High School gymnastics programs for two years.

Payton currently serves as a 6th grade Social Studies and Writing teacher at Heritage Middle School. We are excited to welcome Coach Stites to the Warrior family as both a teacher and coach for our student-athletes!

"Warrior Families, I am extremely excited and grateful for the opportunity to join your gymnastics team in the Head Coach position. As a teacher in the district, it is my honor and privilege to be able to play another role for this community. We will continue to build and grow the gymnastics program together, focusing on fostering a sense of belonging, community, and joy while striving for excellence, in and outside of the gym. I look forward to expanding on the success of the program and to building strong relationships with athletes and families. It will be a wonderful season and I am excited to be a Warrior!

Congratulations and a big Warrior Welcome to Coach Stites!
