Amy Smith Excited to Lead Warrior Girls Soccer Program
The Two Rivers Activities Department is thrilled to announce the hiring of Amy Smith as the next head coach for the Warrior Girls Soccer program!
Amy joins the Two Rivers Girls Soccer program with an extensive playing and coaching background. As a prep player, she was captain of her Wayzata High School State Championship team. She went on to play Division I soccer at the University of Minnesota, and played a key role in helping the Gophers claim the 1995 Big Ten Championship.
After college, Amy started her coaching career serving as the head coach of Wayzata High School's JV and Sophomore girls soccer teams. She also led Visitation's JV team in 2022. In addition to her high school coaching experience, Amy has been highly involved at the youth soccer levels, coaching travel and high performance girls teams for Salvo Soccer Club since 2018. She is excited for the opportunity to take the reins and lead the girls soccer program at Two Rivers High School!
