The Sport Analytics Club explores the role of data in sports through analytics, visualization, and predictive modeling. Our aim is to better understand the outcome of sport matchups focusing on the statistics of each team in given scenarios and future matchups. After those matchups are complete, we meet the following week to discuss whether the predictions were correct or false, and analyze what actually happened and if something unexpected occurred.
